Immanuel

God is a relational God. It is His desire to have a relationship with all. He is not emptiness or nothingness than Buddhists aspire to. He is not distant and unmerciful as Muslims believe. He is not just another being or god like the Hindus make. He is not behind a curtain or screen only reachable through a priest. He is so much more than all of this and He wants to share it with you.
He is the I AM that met personally with Moses. He is the Almighty Father that spoke at the transfiguration. He is the LORD who walked with Enoch. He is the Creator that dwelt with Adam. He is the Righteous One who wrestled with Jacob. He is The Christ who ate with sinners, healed the blind, washed the feet of His disciples, raised Lazarus, forgave an adulteress, prayed for the lost and spoke to both the masses and individuals. He is Immanuel- God with us.
Because of His love, He wants to have a relationship with us- not just one-on-one with Him, but through the people in our lives. He wants to have relationships with others through us, as we trust in Him.
He is so much more than we can ever dream of. And He is available.
