A great promise and a great prayer

Today, while reading I found a great promise and then right under it was a great section of Scripture that I had memorized.

"I will listen to what God the LORD will say;
he promises peace to his people, his saints-
but let then not return to folly.
Surely his salvation is near those who fear him,
that his glory may dwell in our land.

Love and faithfulness meet together;
righteousness and peace kiss each other.
Faithfulness spring forth from the earth,
and righteousness looks down from heaven.
The LORD will indedd give what is good,
and our land will yield its harvest.
Righteousness goes before him
and prepares the way for his steps."
-Psalm 85:8-13



"Teach me your way, O LORD,
and I will walk in your truth;
give me an undivided heart,
that I may fear you name.
I will praise you, O LORD my God, with all my heart;
I will glorify you name forever.
For great is you love toward me;
you have delivered me from the depths of the grave."
-Psalm 86:11-13
