Fiesta de Tres?

There's plenty to celebrate on this auspicious day...

1. It's Cinco de Mayo which is another reason to enjoy chips, salsa and queso dip at your nearest Mexican restaurant (unless you live overseas). Unfortunately for those of you in China, Indonesia or Uganda, the rate of growth amongst Mexican restaurants here in the US is astonishing. It's not quite Starbucks or CVS/Walgreens/RITEAID, but it's pretty close.

2. The Kentucky Derby and the Queen of England teamed up for a equine spectacle today. Fancy hats, mint julips and bags of oats for the everyone.

3. Well, this last one is more about May 6th than May 5th, but come tomorrow, I won't have to stomach anymore of those annoying "Mayweather-De la Hoya" commercials. Egad, they suck! And they are on all the freaking time. Frankly, I hope they knock each other out and the moron that came up with the script for the ads.
