An elephant never forgets... a birthday!

Saturday was one of my co-worker's birthday, so we made her birthday wish come true and took her to the Elephant Camp (and monkey show & orchid farm).

Above: Dangling bananas like the proverbial carrot for this big little guy. Below: Trudy serves up breakfast.

Above: After a snack, the elephants took a bath. I love this picture because of the rider's expression- he just has this look that says, "Could there be anything in the world than riding an elephant?" Below: While being an elephant trainer may be a peach of a job, the 2 ladies with the baskets might have the worst job... it is there job to catch the bowling ball size elephant poop as it floats down the river. The will later use it to make paper.
