Another way to help
China isn't the only country suffering through a major disaster right now. For almost 2 weeks, the people of Burma (Myanmar) have been held hostage by a lying, arrogant and merciless group of military leaders. As you may know, the military junta that rules Burma, is preventing a lot of aid, and more importantly, aid workers from getting to the hundreds of thousands of victims affected by Cyclone Nargis.
Some aid has started to trickle in, but unless Burma's oppressive regime starts to allow more aid, one of the best ways for the victims to get aid is through groups that have established a network with locals. Some friends of mine, recently recommended a Christian organization that is doing just that.
"[We] know the good people at Partners Relief and Development and recommend them to you as a group of Christ-followers who know the situation on the ground in Burma. These guys are connected and ready to put your donation to work in Burma."
