Overdue KK Post: Part 2

This little guy was one of a few carvings at our hotel.

A giant monitor (lizard) on Sapi Island. They were crawling around the barbecue pit near the edge of the forest.

This is Sapi Island (or Palau Sapi, if you are local). One of the great things about KK is the assortment of islands just a short boat ride away. There were water sports and a beach with quite a bit of coral and tropical fish. We spent almost a full day here soaking up the sun, surf and sand.
