Under the Sea
Last week, Rufina and I continued our sightseeing in downtown Atlanta. We went to the brand new Georgia Aquarium.

This is one of the whale sharks which are some of top attractions at the aquarium. However, they have had a couple of these big guys die, but this one seemed just fine (as if I knew what a healthy whale shark looks like).

The aquarium features one of those cool (but now common) walkways in a tube going through the tank. It was cool to see a squadron of rays and a school of fish to soar over our heads.

Here we are in front of the biggest tank with that whale shark trying to get some face time too.

Speaking of lovely couples, here are 2 of the Beluga whales. That one in the back is the male and apparently he had some Marvin Gaye cranked up in the tank and had some oysters for lunch because he was trying to put the moves one of the females.

Gary the grouper was also caught staring at the beluga whales.

Me at the Georgia Aquarium.

Having a Coke (Zero) and a smile. The new (and improved?) World of Coke is located right next to the aquarium. We passed on it since we had both been to the old one.

Later that night, we went to the Fabulous Fox Theater to see Spiderman 3. They had a summer film festival that featured several of this summer's big hits. It was so cool to sit in the balcony of the historic theater and watch the movie. We even got to hear the organ before the movie started. Sorry, no pics.
